Ronin Connect R-7180 Retractable Calling Earphone

Experience the Ronin Connect R-7180, where taking a call is as simple as pulling the earpiece from your collar. There’s nothing to fish out of a bag or untangle from a pocket. These earpiece clips to your collar and slides out when you need it, then retracts when you’re done. Two microphones with ENC reduce background noise, so your voice stays clear in traffic, offices and busy streets. With its Bluetooth 6.0 that gives you a fast and steady connection.

The 400mAh battery runs up to 60 hours at max volume and holds standby for up to 360 days, so it can sit unused for weeks without going flat. Dual connectivity lets you link two phones at once and answer whichever one rings, and the LED display shows the battery level in real time. A full charge takes about 1.5 hours. If you like Ronin wireless earbuds, these retractable earphones suit drivers, office staff, and anyone who takes calls all day.

Specifications

Retractable Earpiece Design

The most distinctive feature of the Ronin Connect R-7180 is its retractable earpiece. Pull it out when you want to use it, then retract it when you’re finished. This design helps keep the earpiece attached to the main unit instead of leaving a separate earbud loose in your pocket.

It’s a particularly practical design for people who answer calls frequently and prefer having their earphone readily accessible.

Dual-Mic ENC for Clearer Calls

Background noise can make conversations difficult when you’re working, commuting, or speaking from a busy environment. Ronin R-7180 features dual-microphone Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC), designed to help reduce surrounding noise picked up during calls.

ENC is intended to improve the voice heard by the person on the other end of the call. It is not the same as Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which reduces noise for the person wearing the earphone.

Up to 60 Hours of Playtime

Frequent charging can be inconvenient when you rely on an earphone for calls and audio. R-7180 has a 400mAh battery and is rated for up to 60 hours of playtime at maximum volume. Actual battery life can vary depending on volume, call duration, and usage. Its charging time is approximately 1.5 hours, making it relatively straightforward to recharge when needed.

Bluetooth 6.0 Connectivity

With Bluetooth 6.0, the R-7180 offers a modern wireless connection to compatible devices. Its stated operating range is up to 10 metres, depending on surroundings and obstacles.

Connect to Two Phones at Once

If you use separate phones for work and personal calls, switching between them can become inconvenient. These Ronin earphones support multipoint connectivity, allowing it to remain connected to two compatible phones simultaneously. This is useful for people who want to keep both devices connected without repeatedly disconnecting and pairing again.

Real-Time LED Battery Display

The built-in LED display shows the remaining battery level, making it easier to know when it needs charging. Instead of relying only on a low-battery warning, you can check the indicator and plan your next charge accordingly.

Collar Clip-On Design

The collar clip-on design gives the R-7180 a different approach to everyday listening. The main unit can be attached to your clothing, keeping the retractable earpiece close at hand when a call comes in.

This style may suit users who prefer a dedicated calling earphone over conventional true wireless earbuds.
